"Game failed to successfully launch from the EA app" any idea how to fix this. Just brought the sims 2 legacy edition and I can't launch the game. Is there a way to get a refund?

Hi, I disabled the EA overlay and it worked once, and it doesn't anymore :( I tried clearing the cache, repairing the game, launching from the ep9.exe and changing the compatibility to vista. Nothing seems to work while sims 4 launches just fine
I actually figured out a fix, I disabled the EA overlay and it workx
Having the same issue trying to run the game now it was added to EA play and game pass
