PC going into screen saver mode and exiting once game is paused.

We all know the latest patch update has done nothing to fix the UI, has caused edge scrolling to disable, keyboard use/typing cheats to stop working but has anyone else noticed that if you pause your game for a few minutes, the PCs screen saver mode turns on and gets out of the game? This has NEVER happened before this update and does not happen in any other game i have played. This is also happening in sims 1 since the update. Got a feeling this might have something to do with this new borderless window mode?? Whatever it is, EA. FIX IT!!!
