Question About Elders

How can you tell how long it will be until an elder dies? Is there a cheat or a mod to do so? I don’t want to be surprised by the Grim Reaper and I wish there was a notification or something, like in TS4.

Thank you so much! I was hoping someone would bring up this mod! I saw it a long time ago but I couldn’t find it!

Awesome! I didn't know if you would want it but I use it all the time.
  • I haven't heard of a cheat or a mod, but I can mostly see it by how much the bar jumps every day. It will keep going at the same speed, so you can 'read' it in a way.

Yeah, mine always pass on at the wrong moment, I had 4 of the grandparents for their first grandchilds birthday (they all lived together) all 4 started to go when the baby was ageing up!!

If they are platinum, they live longer and sometimes the bar fills up and just stays there for awhile.
If you want to control when they die, I recommend the heirloom cake. It ages up Sims in any age group and allows elders to "meet their end".
