Hi 5f2d0dcbf7b4eb9d, Carmen_Skye and SimxShady,
try deleting the cache files. The Sims are located in Documents in the “The Sims 2 Legacy” folder, where you will find “groups.cache” and “Accessory.cache.”
Otherwise, try repairing your game with the EA app and reinstalling it if necessary.

Hi Dustlex
I have done those things and deleted my mods, but the problem still persists.

Could you please try generating a new user folder? You can do this by renaming or moving the The Sims 2 Legacy folder in your documents.

Can confirm this does not work. I moved my Sims 2 Legacy Folder, uninstalled the game, then reinstalled it to have a fresh folder generate. At first this seemed to work as I was able to save and exit to a Neighborhood/exit as normal. Within a day, I am encountering the same issues. No mods, no active cheats.

I have tried all of that! Nothing helped! I still can't play the Sims on my gaming laptop! Now I can only play Sims 4 on my husband's computer!
