Hello all, I've recently updated my computer to windows 10 and I get the following message whenever I try to play the sims 2 "This application has terminated". First I tried to remove all my mods, thinking that may be the problem. It wasn't. Then, I tried to repair my game through origin, and that didn't do anything either. I've done everything I can think of (Compatibility mode, windows mode, different screen resolution) and nothing at all works, and I'm really upset about it because it still is my favorite Sims game. Does anyone have any advice on what to do? Thank you!

Hi,
I have Sims 2 and since I've updated to Windows 10 I haven't been able to create a sim. Before the update I created a family but the game glitched while one of them was visiting a different lot (after Windows 10 update) and it went into build mode and won't let me out of it. So my old family is off limits and I can't create a new one because the game crashes every time I try. Does anyone know what to do?
We had a repairman to fix our viruses on our computer earlier today and when we told him the problem he said something about the disk drive software, and how it needed to be updated because it doesn't happen with the windows 10 update.
Please help!!!
Matt
You may need to update your bios, your video cards, Your computers may not compatible with windows 10. Also the possibility that when you updated to windows 10 it did not install properly and you might have to do a clean install.
If both of you could please post your computer specs. You will have to copy and paste the whole text file in sections in several posts. The text file is large and wont fit in one post https://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-gather-dxdiag-information/
