    Hi all,

    This issue was resolved in today's patch:

    • Addressed some situations related to the error “Some needed files were corrupted during the installation”

This happened to me too, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, repairing the game, uninstalling the game, the app and deleting all the Sims 2 folders then reinstalling and nothing is working. 

It works on my bfs PC but I can't use his all the time so i've requested a refund and will purchase through Steam to see if that makes a difference :/
