I didn't realize how different the Sims 2 were until I played the Sims 2 again and remembered how hard it could be and I enjoyed it I think a little bit more and was less likely to walk away from the game to do something really quickly. Oh and I also was trying to move the life span longer as it seemed I just didn't have enough time to do what I wanted lol
