My new video series - Perfect Genetics Challenge - is now available for viewing on YouTube. https://youtu.be/iQUhw5SbutM This video is a little over 16 minutes. It is an introduction to my foun...
I gave up on getting the game to run in Appaloosa Plains. So I added a heap of venues from various sources to a brand new version of Lucky Palms world and rebuilt the house and they are now living happily without any chance of snow, rain, hail or fog - and no more Alien abductions.
I included the information on how I stop alien abductions in the video, so it has a tiny tutorial buried inside the longer video.
To help with keeping the game running I have moved Olivia, Don, Cindy and Bill out of the household. They now live in the barn with the horses. They took all of the Simoleans the household had too, so their new accommodation is a bit luxurious and they seem happy there. I had to dismantle the old main house and save the Simoleans to have some to build the new house.
There is one birthday in this episode, it is a birthday I didn't cause. And there was no party because it happened at a time of the game's choosing.
The horses have a lot more room to gallop around now.The main house is still a work in progress. But it is mostly done.
Here are some pics of the interior of the ground floor. It is mostly just the ground floor, but it does still have a slightly extended basement and a rooftop greenhouse.
I used the frozen archways because I don't usually use them and I liked the look.

The fish survived and now live in this workroom. The magic gnome tombstones are now surrounding the treehouse.I forgot to give them a TV room so I added one next to the workroom. The sculpting room - also has a science research machine. The fish and Oliver. He's been discovering nanites. The front room with stairs down to the basement and the kitchen at one end and the new birthday room at the other end.
Thank you. It seems to be playing much better since the move to Lucky Palms. It still needs to be nursed along a bit though, but I'm used to having to do that with the way I prefer to play. For some reason I like to find the game's limits and then see how far I can push it beyond so I can't complain too much when it resists. :)
