Holly Alto held back her tears. "I feel like my whole family is falling apart, Michael."
Michael Bachelor held her in a tight hug. He wanted to tell her everything was going to be okay. But, he didn't want to lie to her. Holly was right. Her family was falling apart before her very eyes. "Whatever happens. You still got me."
Holly nodded. "And Bebe. Bebe is always there for me."
Michael nodded. Bebe Hart and Holly Alto were good friends. But...
"I can't believe she didn't go work at the bookstore along with you. I really can't believe she went to work at the graveyard." Bebe was unique. Everyone knew her parents were a few cards short of a full deck. Bebe seemed like a sweetheart but....For example: She wanted to write a novel but would have panic attacks in the computer lab at school.
"Speaking of working together," Holly changed the subject. She didn't want her boyfriend talking about Bebe. "Why didn't you come work with me at the bookstore?"
"Michael laughed. "Because I was afraid I wouldn't get any work done."
"Yeah, I bet you just want to massage other girls," Holly teased. Michael had gotten a job at the Sharma Day Spa.
"Maybe the girl who needs a massage is Holly Alto."
