149 The Watcher Watches: Alfie & Cherie <3




Even in sleep, Alfie wrestles with the decision of children. How will having children effect the timelines of Max and himself? This is something he is going to have to discuss with Max! Good thing they are genius with scientific minds!

His darling Cherie awakens, Alfie knows she loves him, she tells him often.
But Alfie doesn't know if he should go ahead and marry Cherie, won't that just make things more complicated? Good thing he didn't lose his head and already ask her! She is so precious to him, he doesn't want to hurt her! He must speak with Max about all this, right away!
Cherie interrupts his thoughts. And Alfie is glad.

"Cherie I need to speak with Max, straight away. Do you want to come along, so you can chat with Faelie?" asks Alfie
"Oh yes, I love chatting with Faelie!" says Cherie. Faelie and Cherie are good friends.

They fly the long lovely path from their secluded little cottage to the road. And touch gracefully down. Mr. Hopcraft, a supernatural skeptic, crosses the road, when he sees them.
"I see Nothing!" he mumbles to himself.

Alfie's brow smooths and his eyes soften when he sees Quigley, just now leaving for school.
"Hello son"
"Hi Alfie," smiles Quigley, a bit awkwardly "Dad is waiting for you." Quigley loves Alfie but gets confused when he calls him 'son'.
"That's great, have a good day at school, study well!" and Alfie enters Max's home.

"Max, I've been thinking, we need to talk" says Alfie
"I've been waiting for this, Alfie, I've already thought a lot about it." says Max

Max nods, he knows it's true, how could it not be?

"And I feel I have been coping well, living in our secluded little cottage with my dear Cherie" Alfie continues.

"But things of course, progress, it's only natural, and I miss and long for my children! Not to mention Cherie will want to marry soon, and That ...." Alfie shrugs, and sighs, feeling helpless.

Max feels great love and compassion for Alfie, this 'now' must be tremendously difficult for him! (As Max tried to explain it to Faelie 'imagine there was a clone made of you which had All your memories implanted into it, and this clone was suddenly thrust into your world where you were living. Now imagine the poor clone seeing your spouse and your children come love and embrace you! Surely that is the worst torture, my love.')

"My dearest friend, I really feel for you. I know of your longing. You've already created a new time line with Cherie! But surely you must know that you won't be able to bring forth any of our Known future children to this 'now' with Cherie, because Faelie is their Mother!" says Max, gently.

"I know, I know, Max! But perhaps I could have a known child engineered with Faelie!" suggests Alfie, feeling like he is grasping at straws.

Though Shocking to us, Max thinks it sounds like a logical, plausible idea! After all he and Alfie are essentially the same Being!
"Of course, you would have to convince both Faelie and Cherie, and uh there would be the matter of your wings, dear friend!" says Max
"I will think on it some more at work! And I suggest you do the same!" and Max twirls into his Mad Scientist outfit and heads to work!

Alfie doesn't want to approach the subject with Faelie, because he doesn't know how much Max has told her of him. As far as he knows Faelie feels a magnetism like she has known him before, somehow.

And Alfie has not told Cherie about Any of his lives from any of his timelines, he doesn't know where to even begin! How can he possibly say to her
"Cherie in all my time lines, Faelie is always my wife, until now." No, no, that is probably not going to go over well At All!






Faelie calls Alfie to come chat.
"How care things going with you and Cherie, Alfie?"

"Cherie and I are growing closer each day! I'm so lucky to have her!" says Alfie.

"Well I think you would make some very cute kids someday!" Faelie says, smiling.
