Afterschool Activities And My Autolight Fireplace
While I can happily announce that MY CUSTOM CONTENT ISSUE IS FIXED!!!!, I've been experiencing some other unfortunate problems. Before I go on, I'd just like to point out that it definitely seems it was the temporary free Origin Access that caused my content to disappear. When it ended, so did the glitch of all my content just not appearing in the game.
On with my report. My Sims' house has a FancyTime fireplace, which of course comes with the autolight upgrade already installed. No matter how much I click Disable Autolight, the fire still goes out when my Sims have gone to bed. I can temporarily resolve this issue by having a Sim manually light a fire, but it always reverts to the autolight being installed.
But I've saved the worst for last. My Sim Yvonne (and for those who don't know how that's pronounced, quite simply it's just e-von) and her kid sister, Turquoise, are both signed up for afterschool activities. They have been since roughly the second week in game-time of their creation, which in game-time was thirteen weeks. Yet they have never, ever actually attended their afterschool activities. Even though they typically attend school, they leave the building when school ends; and when I try to send them to their afterschool activities, I get the message: "Your Sim must be in class prior to attending."
