When I first started using Vector years ago, my active household's kids all came down with Llama Pox and Simfluenza at the same time (this is where I learned that unleashing multiple "new" diseases on a town all at the same time was a bad idea besides being a horrible strain on the game engine although this could have happened coincidentally anyway).

The one parent who never did come down with either disease spent hours outside of the hospital playing games with the sick kids until finally, briefly, their moods were high enough to allow them to get treatment (the mood impact on seeing a doctor I think has been softened since then). And we did not have a way to keep them out of school while being sick back then, thankfully that has been corrected.

But seriously, who does this?

Besides not being able to function very well in that condition, he could have helped out more at home during the day when he wasn't bedridden himself and would have been less likely to have passed the disease onto his coworkers. As for being down to the last §2 and that not being enough to afford health care (wish sims had health insurance provided), I might have sent a parent when they were feeling well enough in between things to the Business Building to infect everyone at the bank to take out a small loan (SP Money module) to help them get through. ;)
How do you enable this mod? I just got it and it says that the mod is on there but I can't find it anywhere
