Been a million years since I last visited these forums. I recently reinstated Sims 3 since I have been having a lot of issues with Sims 4 bugs and such and was remembering the old days when I and many others use to host Sims 3 contest.
Does anyone remember those days? Do you miss them? Did you ever join any of them? Thoughts?
O my gosh! A name from the past! My memory is pretty bad but I remember you from when the forums were so wonderfully active. I do miss those days indeed. I’ve entered a few contests / build-and-shares and it was such fun. To help keep the spirit alive, I and my teammates have been hosting world build collaborations. Currently wrapping up The Orient Express and another collab is in the early planning stages.
Anyway welcome back! It would be great to see contests / challenges here again… not necessarily for simpoints, but for the creative fun and camaraderie 😀
I do remember those days and miss them very much. I joined many contests, held a few contests of my own, and 'own the store' due to so many generous gifters and contests from when the community was thriving during that time. Gosh I just realized it was almost 10 years ago. Hard to believe.
Hey, I remember you and your contests! Those were the best days - I basically lived on the Gift Gathering section of the forums and joined almost every contest there xD It was just so much fun! I still have all the screenshots I took for various challenges and just recently looked at them again. It's very nostalgic and I miss those days.
There were so many generous simmers and I also (almost) own the store thanks to them and those simpoint ads, lol.
I miss them. But I really miss the gift giving exchanges, where people would get paired up and build/create things for their giftee.
I so fondly remember those days as well and really do miss them. It was such fun entering the contests and I received so many store gifts from those and really appreciated them. The Gift Gathering section of the forums was an awesome place and so active. Things sure have changed. Nice to see your name again Skymyst 😀
