Here's my first attempt at assignment #1. I'm a beginner and am in need of some help. I welcome "constructive criticism" that will enable me to learn and grow as I gain more experience.
I didn't include widows on my first house. I only added a very light shade of blue to the interior walls and a plain wood flooring inside to help me to keep my focus. I'm pretty sure that I have some errors in trying to get the floor plan right...may be off a tile or two here and there. I would appreciate help with learning to convert the floor plans for use within TS3 game.
The roofing could be better, but as it is, I had a time trying to use the tool for the first time to be able to do a roof at all! Well, it's all in learning.
I welcome feedback that will help me.
Thanks in advance! :)

for your first home it looks great. That little bit of extra roof should be there.
MerryWiddow does all the home work assignments, so I will let her do a more detailed feedback.
The general rule for converting floors plans is a square tile in TS3 is equal to 2'.
So if you have a floor plan that is 39'-2" wide and 46' long you divide that by two to get 19.6. & 23 In TS3 always round up so your home would be a total of 20 squares wide and 23 squares long.
Hope I didn't confuse you.
