CC Builds Question

If a lot is built with .package file CC and someone downloads the .sims3pack version of the lot, will the CC show up in their game?

  • Probably should tag some people that may know @Pary @igazor @TreyNutz @SimplyJen
  • I don't export lots or sims, but from my understanding package CC is not included with lots. You could test it yourself though. Throw a bunch of CC items on a lot, export, quit the game, pull your Sims 3 folder out of Documents, let the game generate a new one, copy the exported lot sims3pack to the Downloads folder in the new TS3 folder, install, launch a game, place in a world and see.

Well shucks! That is a bummer! I give it a test. Thank you for answering.
  • .package CC doesn't transfer. Normally, only CC installed via s3pack will transfer and apparently only if the lot is exported when the files are in the DCBackup folder.

Thank you @Pary! That's such a darn shame. I thought that they'd reattach themselves somehow!
