Update: I went into Miriam's household and realized her relationship with her husband was the reddest it could be. I had her husband divorce her (I feel he wouldn't want to be stuck in a toxic relationship.), but that only caused more drama. It turns out the kids all dislike Hubert and Miriam is evil.
