Classic car on the friend list???

Somewhere along the way, one of my matriarch heirs bought a beautiful classic car for herself. And it's been passed down to each hour for a couple of generations now. I was just looking at my current heir's friends and it shows her classic car on the list of friends as a "good friend". What??? I mean that's cool but is it a bug?

    It's a feature included in the Fast Lane patch. If a Sim drives around in a particular car, they gain a relationship with it over time.

    Sims with the vehicle enthusiast trait gain relationships with their vehicle faster. Also, once your Sim is friends with a vehicle, they can name it.
