I love the idea and always wanted to get into story making in the sims but never really have and I've been playing since TS1. I do have themes for each game save game though and a basic direction how I want each sim's life to go. My back stories are pretty loose though.
This is from TS4 but I've had similar games in TS1-3 as well:
My "Fables" save game is probably is the most story driven. That's my "out there" game with the most aliens, vampires etc.. The Goths are the founders, the Sweets are the only "normal" sims in the world but live in a gingerbread house. So far It's the only save that I play so called evil sims. I have some witches that I focus on herbalism, the Addams family, a gnome king and queen. One of my favorites is Dr. Krieger from the show Archer, a mad scientist who I got alien pregnant then married an alien and had a child with her.
This wasn't intended but Lurch from the Addams family kept getting abducted every night for about a week. I was a little disappointed that he never got pregnant. ?
I don't play that one too often since I'm kind of waiting to see if they're going to put some type of magic and more supernaturals in the game. Plus I waffle about how I feel about Pugsley and Wednesday Addams growing up. Sometimes I can't wait to play them as adults other times it just feels blasphemous to change the family unit as is since it's what I grew up with on TV and in the movies.
