Nice find and it seems like there are always things to discover in Sims 3 .... That's how Witches can afford big spooky houses and lots of cats. I am not certain, but I think the Witch has to have the Magic Hands lifetime reward to take advantage of the Insurance Glitch and it doesn't matter where they cast the spell, or if it even damages anything in some cases, as long as it starts a fire.
My Witch was rich before she became a Witch ... It could come in handy for others though. Have fun messing around and discovering new things ... Maybe you can figure out how to get a Witch to spin when skating ... 🤣
