Getting Rid of Imaginary Friends

I found the imaginary friends in the Generations really cool when my sim was a child. Now my sim is a young adult. The imaginary friend is bothersome, always wanting to pillow fight or talk. Is there a way to get rid of these imaginary friends? Lastly, how do you feel about the imaginary friend? Creeped out? I know I am. Tell me your thoughts!

    Cheats can be used to do improper things like force delete actual sims or have MoveObjects used on them (just a couple of examples). When one is still learning the game and their way about it, it can be difficult to know right away which things are perfectly safe to do vs. those that might be risky or downright should never be done.

    Hiding the doll an in adult's inventory is fine, if you can get that to work. The worst thing that can happen is that it jumps out of there and into the toddler's arms anyway just to annoy you. :)
