Help with modifying cc skin..

Hello there, I have a cc skin that hasn't been updated to the new supernatural patch new skin UI sadly (the creator haven't updated it sadly)
But I like the skin so much I cant find anywhere else updated, its non default
However it appears in the skin UI double (it only supposed to be 3 non default instead of 6) but after the supernatural patch the other three replica appear outside of skin UI..
Anyway I only want the 3 non default I dont the other duplicates so I went to SP3E and deleted whatever I thought extra..and kept these three non default..

Did I do something wrong? Will my game crash? Can you please help? I'm not expert in this at all..

    Could be mistaken, but I think this question might be a bit advanced for this forum. Perhaps you might post it on the TS3 content creation section of MTS and see if you get a well-informed response over there?

    I do not find that to be the case at all. In fact, the TS3 general discussion and help boards are at least as or more active over there than the TS4 ones are. There is still content being created for TS3 and some mod developers (besides us) are still active.

    The content creation boards aren't as crowded/busy as they once were, but I wouldn't call them deserted either.

    I mean, it looks like you successfully deleted the duplicates to me but I don't really work with CC skin. I will say, it won't make your game crash so it doesn't hurt to test it to see if what you did solved your problem.

    Oh I didnt see a section fourm for sims 3 cc that's why I posted here..but i guess i posted on MTS no one would reply because sims 3 players is deserted there..sadly
