I did accept that opportunity to make dreams comd true once. I completed it. I won't do it again. It takes a sim a long time to make the potion on the chemistry table but it is usually a massive amount faster than looking for a rainbow gem. Sims need to have logic level of 8 before they can discover the potion at the chemistry table. Once their logic is 8 it is random when they make the potion. The first time it is made it is free, after that it costs over 4,000 simoleans.

I don't know why that happens. Maybe if you put the doll on the floor it'll become live. It needs to be live so your sim can become best friends with it as it won't drink the potion if they are not best friends.

Oh, okay. Well, it sounds like those rainbow gems are hard to find then especially if you don't even know where to look for them. Working up to making the potion from the chemistry table sounds like the better way to do it. I switched households so I'm currently not at that house right now but next time I switch back to it maybe I'll try taking it back out of the inventory on the floor. My Sim is old friends with that Imaginary friend though a little chunk was taken out of the relationship bar because Jelly Bean the Imaginary Friend is not very nice. He seems to have one of those grumpy or mean traits and insulted my Sim a few times and also has the Insane trait. I don't like those mean kind of traits and never use those ones and that's why I want to keep that Imaginary Friend put away in the inventory unless of course I decide to try to make him into a real Sim.
