I'm so glad I have a dog (in my Sims 3) He brings home a rainbow gem every single day. But then I have the mod that allows me to expand my queue from 8 to 30 and I send him out for the entire day. "Here go do 30 "sniff out items" and I'll see you back in time for supper. Between that, pink diamonds and soulpeace gemstones...it's no wonder they get stinkin' rich stinkin' fast. So...my suggestion is if you have the Pets EP... get a dog - they'll manage to find rainbow gems for your potions for your Metamorphium potion. Then you can get those annoying Imaginary Friends out of your house even quicker.
