erg. Unfortunately mine still isn't working. It won't let me open the game. I changed all the things you mentioned, I keep restarting constantly, I am playing on a guest account with administrator privileges, everything I can think of to do. I open the launcher, press play and the blue screen with the sims icon comes up, but then I get this error:
