Modded vending machines?

So here's a question. Has anyone made modded vending machines of any sort? Clearly Sims 3 will never get any store content etc, and I always really wished there was a way to get a quick snack at comm...

One option is to use the ITTF food replicators and use NRaas Register to disable the assingments of waiter to these replicators.
