Recommendations?

I know TS3 has been out, and have spotted lots in the TS3 store I hope to get eventually. I haven't decided whether to focus on getting the EPs and SPs I want first, or spend $10-$20 on SimPoints for store content. I'm listing the top things I want from the shop, as well as why, and want to know what you think of the items and if they're worth it. I already spent my SimPoints from getting the game on the Animals Abound nursery stuff...

~Nautical Living Furniture Set
I love nautical stuff... and the ocean... designing beach houses... but is it really worth it?

~Lullabies & Nursery Rhymes
I technically want this for the Premium Content (mostly the changing table which is 599 separate)... and maybe the bunk bed. Is it worth 1987 sp?

~Country Livin'
Mostly for the chicken coop... but I like the clothes too!

~Local Motion Toddler Walker

~MultiTab
I've seen this in videos a lot.

Any other suggestions, and what's your input?

Follow the thread on the store deals and buy items on sale and get the Complete your Set discounts. There's a great thread on cascading that shows how much you can get for free.

For me, I love the play pen and walker for toddlers as they not only are cheap for sims to buy and teach talking and walking. They also let toddlers skill up on charisma, logic, and handiness.

Other premium content I love are the Japanese grill, baker's oven, and pizza wood-burning stove, but I believe that last one only comes with the MV world.

I use all of those sets and items quite a bit. I think it's the bunk beds from Lullabies and Nursery Rhymes that don't work correctly (one bunkbed I have doesn't), but I use the rest of it frequently.

There is so much in the Store that I love. It would be hard to think of where to start to recommend something.

I use and like all the content you listed, but I use the changing table and the MultiTab the most. The changing table is very cheap in-game, looks pretty in nurseries and babies and toddlers get happy moodlets from it in addition to being clean. The MultiTab allows sims to learn skills while doing something else, or even to learn two skills at once if they're listening to a tabcast on one skill and reading a book about the other.
