I use a lot of Nraas mods. I won't play without Relativity! That was the first mod I ever put in my game. Many of the other mods they make became became essential as well after that. It sorta depends on what you want to do. I use a lot of mods from MTS as well as other places that makes things easier or harder depending on what I want. An example icarus allsorts at MTS has a set the table mod that allows a sim to call the other sims to the table so they all eat at one time. I use a lot of his mods.

As far as builders go, yeah I have a few of RuthlessKK as well. :) This is the DNA team's thread and under 'Our Services' is a link to their blog site with all the builds from members past and current. They are awesome builders and will even build you a custom home if you want. I like trying to build my own places, but for fancy homes I've downloaded a few things off the blog.

Essential NRaas mods in my game (several of these are due to my tendency to play overstuffed households): Overwatch, ErrorTrap, Traveler, MasterController (with Cheats, Integration, ExpandedTattoo modules), Mover, Portrait Panel, Register Relativity, Retuner, Saver, Traffic. I also really like StoryProgression and Careers (with PartTime, Schools, SelfEmployed, Tones, and Unemployed modules) and Tempest.

Other essential mods: Add Any Lot Size, More Entry Points, Same Energy for Every Bed, icarus_allsort's call to meal mod (mainly because it tells me how many leftovers are available).

NRaas? I've heard of this gang but have always been suspicious of them and how popular they are. Am going to have to check this out one of these days. :p

Twallan originally designed each of the mods for his own use and that of his "missus." It's perfectly fine to use all of them if the player wants and their system can tolerate it just as he did, or any subset. I don't actually know very many players who do use all of them, there are a few that I don't use myself. Dresser is the only one that continues to scare me, HomeOpener would kill performance in my larger worlds, around four others I just don't need. Most of the rest I do consider essential for all different reasons.

Thanks for the replies. I use MC & Story Progression, the one that can’t be named plus traveller & careers. I’ll have a look at the others suggested.

I actually use almost all of the NRaas Mod collection with 113 NRaas mod files and also have awsomemod installed to fix school issues with overcrowding and routing fails.I've got a coolection of over 600 other assorted Mods from Simlogical,Simsasylum and MTS as well as a few from other places.
