In order to use it, extract the contents of the zip folder anywhere, this should poop out a normal looking Sims 3 save folder, simply cut and paste that folder into your My Documents>Electronic Arts>Sims 3>Saves folder and you should be good to go. Ensure that you have downloaded and installed the town or you won't be able to play the save game.
Keep in mind that all of my sims are made with some form of CC and it would be difficult for me to tell you what they are and link you to each one, so before you download understand that some items might be missing. The best remedy for this would be to download MasterController so you may edit the sims in CAS without the game changing their age on you.
To do so, install MasterController like you would any other mod, in game click on the sim you wish to change>NRAAS>master controller>advanced>edit in CAS. Change the missing items and then click the checkmark as you normally would in CAS, and wa-la.
