Sim is missing after completing university (my fix)

Nevermind, I actually figured out how to post in EAHQ :D :o B)

Go to Edit Town, do not save, just continue. Click on the house your sim lived in and you will find your sim in there. At the bottom of that box you will find "evict, merge, merge with, etc - click the Play this Household button. It will let you play your sim and they didn't loose any skills or money while in Uni. Everything in the house is still the way you left it. I played it a while and then saved and quit. Restarted computer and played again with no problem.

    Sorry for the late reply; I merged your post but forgot to post back here.

    If you don't see the Reply button on AHQ on a regular basis or otherwise have trouble replying to a thread, please report it on that site. There have been a couple other people with the same issue, and the site admin has been curious and had some suggestions for fixing it.
