I used debug items all the time in Sims 4. How does Sims 3 debug compare? I don't know if we have collections in Sims 4, but I see this wiki that says we can put debug items in collections in Sims ...

If I remember correctly, when you put the plants from buydebug on an active lot, they need to grow just as if you planted them with your Sim in game.
The plants stayed red and I could not place them. I must have been doing something wrong. Also, I still have not managed to plant anything in Sims 3 in live mode. When planting did not work exactly like it did in Sims 4, I got distracted and forgot to go back and research this. Sometimes I miss the most obvious things.
