Strays coming in and out of my house

Check the lot traits. A lot of gallery houses already come with lot traits. I use those stray animal lot traits all the time lol.

Close the front door? I have never had a stray come into my house. For it to become a guest, you have to invite it in somehow.

Build a fence and lock the door, like for paparazzi?

Use a mod (Register) to switch off stray animals?

You might also want to lock the front gate or door @larrylove12 That’ll prevent’em from coming in.

I don’t mind the animals; just the paparazzi that seem to frequent the lot if my sims become a celebrity.

As far as eliminating search results for four I usually enter

“Animals entering houses”, “Sims 3”, -4;

The - is supposed to exclude any instances of searches that contain the number 4 in the title. Though of course I know some Sims 4 posters like to throw Sims 3 in the search engine optimization for maximum coverage of their post.

Which frankly only serves to pee off those of us who play Sims 3. ?

I might be wrong since I haven't played in months... but isn't there gnomes in buy mode that will prevent strays from coming?

Yes there are. There are three different ones, one for dogs, one for cats, and one for all other wild animals, including raccoons and deer. They have two modes, to invite strays or prohibit them. The default is inviting strays. You have to click on them to change to prohibiting them. It's been a while since I've used them, so I don't remember if you have to click on them in buy mode or live mode to change them. Once you set them to prohibit strays, they will not come onto your sims' lot at all. But they won't prevent other sims' pets from coming onto your lot, only the strays.

When you change the gnomes from inviting to Shoo! mode their faces and postures change as well to look angry and discouraging, as can be seen in the picture below:

I put these welcoming gnomes on the dog and cat parks in town.

Haha I’ve looked all over for an answer and can only find stuff on the sims 4 , thank you though!!

I know about gnomes that do exactly the opposite...
