Switching between two or more game folders
Hi,
I've been wondering for years but have found no clear answer, if one could have two or more actual game folders, aka The Sims 3 folders without messing things up really bad.
Without a folder named The Sims 3 it creates a new one when the game is launched, tada, and if you copy one, the Store content you had won't be installed with the new copy. I've been switching folders and have seen no severe consequenses, but that was when my game and computer were already a complete disaster and I had nothing to lose. The game was so buggy that it didn't make a noticeable difference, so I'm asking if anyone who knows better, what are the risks of this or is it just ok? I think people would be using it like crazy if it worked just how I'd like to imagine, so there has to be something more than just reinstalling Store content once :D
