That 90's thread

Alrighty everyone. Here I go...🎵 one more time. 😜🎵 With more cc from the fabulous 1990s! 😁

Once again it involves hairstyles...for the guys. 😊

Did any of the rest of you think that guys from the 90's had like the hottest hairstyles?? (Well, for the most part. lol) Some of those grungy hairstyles I personally didn't like, but...

There was one style in particular that I thought was especially hot on a guy (remember, I was a teenager during half of the 90's 😉) and from what I recall it was sported by JTT (Jonathan Taylor Thomas) and even Leo DiCaprio at one point. 

But the guy that sold it the most...was Devon Sawa. 😍

Yes, Casper in his human form...Remember y'all? 😉

...Aaaand the boy I had a big crush on in middle school. Gotta admit he looked pretty similar to Devon. But I was not familiar with Devon until after I crushed on Sean - that was his name. 😁
(I even cut out a picture of Sean's face from the local newspaper (featuring the MS basketball team he was a part of) and put it in a locket my mom gave me. LOL! 😂 Teenage girls, right? But admit it y'all, it's cute. 💗) 

Anyhoo! It was called the Curtains Hairstyle. And I love that style SO much that I've been extremely picky and prejudiced in finding the right cc hair that matches it. 👍🏻⭐

I found 3 that come pretty darn close...I'll let y'all be the personal judge on which one you think suits it best.

*Now, if you aren't a fan of a particular creator's hair textures, you can mostly find a retexture out there that someone else has done on it that will be more to your liking. 👍🏻

Some guys wore the curtains style a little more messily, like Ryder Strong (Shawn Hunter) on "Boy Meets World:" 

^Although he seemed to go back and forth between the messy curtain style and the straight curtain style.

Either way, when I first came across this hairstyle a few years back it's no wonder why I immediately loved it and had to have it in my game. It's got Shawn Hunter written all over it, imo.

Alright, next up is the Blonde Fringe. 😁 You'll remember that hairstyle being sported by Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys and David Beckham:

Gotta admit y'all, this one is hard to find in the Sims 3 cc world...mainly because you gotta have those prominent blonde strands. 

ChazyBazzy's retextures of Musea's male hairs comes pretty darn close for this one...adding in tip highlights which were also stylish in the 90's (I'll get to that style next. 😉) There's a few available HERE; take your pick.

Next - as I said earlier - is the Frosted Tips, short hairstyle. 😃

Made mostly famous by good old Justin Timberlake from NSYNC, but I really wasn't a fan of his "ramen noodle" hair with frosted tips...

If you like the ramen noodle hairstyle though, this one comes close to it. Sorta:

However I prefer the choppy, short-haired look with the frosted tips like the way the beautiful Jensen Ackles wore it in the late 90's. 😍

Lapiz Lazuli's male hairs always come to my mind when thinking of Jensen so to give a little love to another creator, here's Beaverhausen's retexture of LL's Cupcake hair. (With many ways to customize it!) 

That's it for the 90's male hairstyles for now. 😊 But I may revisit it soon because I want to find more diverse cc hair for males, like how Will Smith did his hair in Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
