I have decided that I'd like to continue the family of Emily Jones back in Sunset Valley, where I was actually having the most fun with this save. That means that everything up to the end of page 3 and a bit on page 4 are canon in this story. However, where the family moves to Riverview will not be a part of this story. To start this story off, there will be three recap posts that I had posted on the What Happened in Your Sims 3 Game Today? thread, but without the spoilers. This way, everyone can get up to speed on where the save started, and where it is going. I'll post those in a bit, but hope you all enjoy this story.

I never had planned to share this save here, due to the fact I was having some financial issues at the time, which I won't go into except for the fact I gave up internet (and the forums) because of that. Also, my computer at the time was a laptop that was not really made to play games on. So I cut down on what EP's I would use, and created a save with Emily that would work well with it. Emily quickly became rich when an apple became a Tiberium gem. Soon after, she met and fell in love with Christopher Steel and they had a child named Eric. Sometime after Eric was older, they had another child they named Jessica.When Emily and Christopher were elders, Christopher decided to use some of the Lifetime Happiness points he received from accomplishing his Lifetime Wish to clone himself. Christian Jones was a child, due to the way cloning at the Science Lab works. By this time, Eric was married to Fawn Ursine, Jared and Claire's daughter. She was attracted to a Sim named Garry Sekemoto, who was Zelda Mae and Leighton Sekemoto's child. However, young Garry was attracted to Carina Alvi, a granddaughter to Iqbal Alvi and the Bunch's. It wouldn't matter anyhow, Melanie scared the heck out of Garry when he witnessed her transform into her werewolf form on the full moon. With the wolf taking control, Melanie ran off into the wilderness. However, those instincts told her their was a stranger at her house, so she went to investigate. Lo and behold, it was a teenaged boy named Dwight Langerak, and their was some instant attraction.https://imgur.com/zE6gmtx.jpgDwight is VJ Alvi and Kaylynn Langerak's son, and a cousin to Carina Alvi. He was born a supernatural fan, so that was probably why he and Melanie got along so well. Melanie even kissed him in her werewolf form, and he liked it a lot, even though she was embarrassed when she went normal in the morning. However, Melanie already had a boyfriend named Hiram Bunch. She happened to catch him cheating on her with her aunt, Marisol Frio. She broke up with him, and then started to date Dwight. Soon, tragedy hit the family as Emily Jones passed away in the backyard. Christian soon became a young adult and he moved out of the family. Melanie soon followed, and she turned Dwight into a werewolf like her. They both got quite good at it, actually. Soon, Dwight and Melanie were married, with their family in attendance. This would lead to the events that caused me to change the save name from Jones to Langerak. Fawn aged up to elder the same night as her daughter's wedding. However, tragedy would strike again shortly before Melanie gave birth as Christopher followed his wife into the Netherworld. He never thought it would end up leading to his visit to the future. He was able to build his first Plumbot, a female model named L4U-RN. She basically became a maid around the house. A man named Emit Relevart appeared out of a time portal shortly after. Emit knew that Eric was the inventor of the first Plumbot, so he wanted Eric to see how important his creation would become in the future. Upon his return to the past, Eric became the grandfather to triplets named Abigail, Ariana, and Evan Langerak.

Quinton got a bad boy makeover due to the traits he had, but he would prove to be a good father, and a good husband. However, a baby was coming soon, and it wasn't theirs. Dwight got Melanie pregnant again, and she had her fourth child, a son named Michael. https://i.imgur.com/EPoj6z1.jpgBeing the heir to a wealthy family meant that Ariana didn't have to follow the rules that society set, and she proposed to Quinton who said yes. Melanie had to tell Dwight that she was pregnant, and he was ecstatic. Then, @CravenLestat sent me a Sim he created named Cori Lucas. She was a very poor Sim in my game, so the Langerak's took her in. They paid for her to accomplish her dreams in University, along with Ariana and Quinton. Ariana and Cori quickly became the best of friends, even though Cori is the shy and quiet type. However, Cori and Quinton always had a hard time getting along, no matter how hard I tried. When everyone returned home, Melanie ended up giving birth to Michael Langerak. This meant she had 4 kids. Ariana, Cori, and Quinton all uploaded their resumes and all got their dream jobs. Melanie also became a grandparent to Abigail's daughter, Sheena Langerak. Of course, this added PlantSim genetics to the save. Quinton and Ariana were not married at the time, and since his genetics weren't part of Daisy, he only became her step-father upon marriage. Around this time, Toaster and L4U-RN fell in love as they both had the trait chips to allow them to do so. Soon, Daisy became a cute little, green haired toddler that looked like Ariana. Then, L4U-RN proposed to Toaster and they soon got married. For some dumb reason, I ended up kicking them out of the household, but it is what it is. I didn't quite realize it, but Quinton is actually a cousin to Dwight, so Quinton married a relative in a sense. I try not to think of it though, the game doesn't recognize that. She was the only child of Ariana's at the time, so it was her destiny to be the heir. Daisy and Michael had a great uncle/niece relationship, similar to how Melanie and Christian got along so well. Quinton then had his birthday where he aged up to adulthood. It wasn't long after that when Michael aged up. Then, I ended up pausing the save file for a bit to share a few past updates of things I never posted on the main story thread I have. They aren't actually considered canon to the save, so I'm not recapping them here. Then, Dwight had his elder birthday shortly after I resumed in the present. Emily came back as a playable ghost to rid the family of their werewolf powers, something I wished I hadn't done but it was too late to change it. And not long after this, Daisy aged up into a teenager, and was very similar in looks to how she is now as an adult. Langerak Family, Day 150This takes place on the 150th day of the save, it is also day 4 of week 22. I dreamed that when we woke up today, we decided to move to Riverview for some reason. Oh, and I had another child with Quinton.Melanie: Sounds like a dream I once had. I ended up marrying Quinton's father, Garry Sekemoto and had kids with him. Since the snowstorm cancelled school, John wanted to visit with Carly Wolff. However, she wasn't available, so he went to visit his Uncle Mike instead.

Then it was time for John's birthday. He headed back home before his party started, giving Michael time to get ready to show up. I invited all John's Langerak aunt's and uncles as well as Carly.

Sometime before the party the previous night, I was able to get Dwight to max the logic skill. One of the first things he did was to teach John the first level of martial arts.

Dwight told John that for now, he was to train with Daisy and could face him when he was more skilled. Daisy didn't go easy on him, and John lost. He at least gained another skill point, and a new uniform.

Finally, after several days, Dwight and Quinton became friends again. Quinton was very grateful, and the two shared a friendly hug.

Dwight is awesome, I´m glad you gave him his youth back. It´ll be interesting to see if he will find love once more.
And Daisy, will she EVER have children?! :p
I love Harlan, he looks like Agnes, just a little bit. Or maybe it´s just the color of his hair that makes me think so.

I hope he does find another love, but no one has stood out to me yet. However, if I'm making him immortal, he will have plenty of time.
Not to spoil anything, but she will have at least one kid.

Pretty much the whole family wanted another gift-giving party so I decided to have Ariana throw one. I only invited Langerak family members, and Harlan's two previous children from before he got with Daisy and before the Young Again potion.

After getting gifts, Harlan tried to ask as many people as possible for campaign donations. He got somewhere around $30,000 but he still needs more to make it better so he'll probably throw a campaign party tonight when I play.

The flower girls are looking good, so is Brannon. I can see why you would change his name to Brandon :D
Does plantsims have longer lifespans than normal sims?

@ZhakiraP Yeah, they did seem to be having fun.
I believe it is just Goth's, Langerak's, Bunches, and Sekemoto's left in the world now. Probably would have been more if I would have stopped aging for the first week or so to let other Sims have babies. Think when I do the move after generation 10, I'll pause aging for a week so that townies have more time to start families.
Yeah, I associate Brannon more as a last name than I do a first name for a few reasons.
No, Plantsims live the same lifespan as regular Sims. However, Daisy previously wished for a longer life from a genie, so she has a double lifespan now.

Goth Family Update, Day 228 continued and Day 229

Here is Rose after her makeover. I didn't touch her genetics at all, so her face is 100% identical to her mothers. However, I gave her a different hairstyle and makeup to so it should help make them look a bit different.

Brannon (haven't officially renamed him to Brandon yet) was still at the house, and he didn't join the birthday party. Instead, he did his homework. It seems funny to see so much green hair at the table.

Then, since Rose is now a teenager, I decided that Harlan would be the one to teach her to drive. She wasn't as lucky as her sister because she had to learn to drive in this big truck.

Daisy stayed home for the day again so she could continue with the logic skill. I may have to have her throw a protest to get the skill building moodlet, or there are other ways to help.

Lily gave Brannon one of her flower kisses, and he was happy about it. Then she asked him to go steady and he accepted.

The following morning, Lily was trying to learn the cooking skill. I might just send her to classes on a weekend day so that she gets several skills.

Harlan and Daisy had tried for baby a few times after Rose was born, and I happened to realize there were two seeds I hadn't used. I had her plant them a few days prior and it was time to harvest them. Daisy harvested a girl she named Ivy (after Poison Ivy from Batman, which I plan on basing this Ivy), and Harlan harvested another girl named Holly. For both girls, I used the parent who didn't pick them and used MC to transfer a bit of their genetics into the kids as well. This way, they won't be clones of their parents, or their sisters.

Daisy went to the park for a bit, just to enjoy the nice day. There, she ran into Beth (Sekemoto) Gaffney and they had a nice little chat while Jaimee played by their feet. Beth might get a makeover today when I play as I feel she needs a little tweaking in clothing, makeup, and hair if I feel like it.

Then to close out this update, it was time for the teens to go to prom. Lily almost forgot about it, so I clicked on the limo to have her go. Unfortunately, it messed up Rose so I had to send her separately. Lily met up with Brannon there and was crowned Prom Queen, while Rose went alone. I'll see about hooking her up when I play tonight. I also got a notification that Brannon had aged up to young adult while at prom, so I better check in with him to see if he needs new clothes and hair.

Goth Family Update, Days 230 thru Days 233 continued

Lily was to her word and suggested that Alex Langerak take his sights off her, and to see if he had anything common with Rose instead. Luckily, they did hit it off and slowly worked up a relationship. On the other hand, he had 0 days left to age up and after he left, he became a young adult, and started dating someone. Looks like Rose will have to look elsewhere.

Harlan and Daisy took their children down to the kitchen and started to teach them how to walk.

Lily decided to play her guitar, and the option to make learning charisma and guitar her LTW came up. I went ahead and accepted that one, maybe I'll have Lily start a band with Rose playing keyboard. Not sure about the bass yet, but I think maybe Brandon for the drums.

I granted as many wishes for Brandon as I could, one of which was to learn a recipe. That was an easy one, others were visiting the festival, among other things.

Brandon is an angler, but the job he really wants is a stylist. Since I don't want him to be a stylist, he joined the angler career instead. He got wishes for that job, after the stylist one.

Then he used his fairy aura of soothing for a while as he exercised in front of the TV, shortly after this picture. I had more to post, but I accidentally killed Daisy so I deleted that. Also, my game crashed shortly after I resurrected her, so that was another reason. Day 234 will be different and Daisy won't have died since I found out what done it. With a mod, Plantsims can cause plants to grow faster, but it uses a bit of their hydration. I didn't realize this, and I accidentally used it one too many times. Let's just say that was a nightmare Harlan had and move on.

Daisy continued her work in the garden. She has a longer lifespan still due to a genie wish so she'll be around a while but since Lily has the Green Thumb trait, she can take over when Daisy is gone.

Harlan had another opportunity to exercise for 4 hours to get celebrity points. I want them to have high celebrity status for now, so I went ahead and done it. Eventually, I'll get rid of the celebrity status but not sure what town or generation I'll do that. In the background, the older daughters play chess again.

Brandon joined in as well, with the same opportunity. He used the aura that helps with athleticism, logic, etc. to help himself and Harlan. It also helped the girls as they played chess.

Upstairs a bit later, Harlan and Daisy helped the "twins" learn how to talk. They technically aren't twins but since they were born on the same day, they may as well be.

Harlan got invited to a party so I sent everyone else to bed so I could focus on him at the party. He took an invigorating elixir to help him stay up longer, the last one I had. He caught up with one of Daisy's relatives, Jenna Langerak.

He also caught up with Dwight Langerak. Dwight and Rain just recently had another baby named Tyler. They already have a son named Troy.
