Both my founders have just died, their seven children are still all at the family home...the eldest three are trying to pursue relationships (romantic lol) but even though they can woo hoo or try for a baby with their girlfriend/boyfriend there is no option to move them into the family home or to get engaged??

Once they're romantic interests, my understanding is you can't ask someone to move in until you've married them - each time I've had a friend that has the "ask to move in" option, as soon as they start getting flirty it disappears. To get engaged, their relationship has to be very high, so just keep working on it. Then once they're engaged you can have a private wedding and the new spouse will move in automatically.
Bobbo, I don't understand why you're so upset about this. As others have already pointed out, it's not like this Challenge is a real official competition. Quite a few people have already said they don't like one particular rule so they've changed it, and others have agreed, so they have a subgroup of people playing the challenge with modified rules. And someone else has already expressed concern over this rule. So I don't think it would be difficult for you to have others to compete with on a modified version. I've never done a legacy challenge before, but personally I'm not doing it to "compete" or viewing it as a competition - it's a challenge to myself to see how well I can do and to enjoy playing the same family for 10 generations!
As for my legacy, my heir Cassia has recently married her high school sweetheart, Jarod Shockley. I thought meeting someone at high school would be a great way to find someone close to her age who was single...But she must have met him on his last day of school because he's a LOT older than her - halfway through adult when she just hit YA! And he wants to raise 5 kids for his lifetime want! So, fertility treatment and a lot of kids TV and music is in order I think. He also came with only 4 traits, so now I have to use the cheat to fix him.
