Izzy frets. He needs to speak to his love, about what his future as the Alpha Wolf holds for him, in case Chad wants to extricate himself from their relationship, to live a more peaceful life, much more suited to such a gentle and kind soul.

But Chad had overheard Laz's conversation, as did all of those in the salon. Well Laz's voice is very deep and loud and booming, even when he whispers, so everyone there at the salon, already knows that Izzy/Aziz is the new Alpha Wolf and Leader.

"I already know Izzy, you've accepted your destiny! So what's to become of us? I suppose your title requires you to have a brave wolf mate?'' Chad's eyes start to smart.
"Listen, I want to stay with you, I will do what ever is required, I will even take the bite to become a wolf, for you Iz."
Chad may not be brave but he is certainly very courageous right now, when his love is at stake!

Chad finds that image very funny.
And off they go to the Vault of Antiquities, in search of the Lore of the Werewolves!

Once in the dimmed lighting of the vault, Chad feels romantic and frisky, and grabs Izzy. "Come on, Iz,'' he whispers softly "let's make an heir right now!"
Izzy laughs "Oh you're incorrigible! That's not how things work!"
"You always say that!" Chad smiles, but doesn't stop with his sweet kisses.

After love, they search over all the parchment manuscripts bound together in leather covers and bindings.

"Let's try over in that furthest room" suggest Izzy, knowing exactly where the book is, for he's read it before.

Chad asks "Does that mean none of our children will ever have my genes?" as soon as he hears his own words, he feels mean and awful. As if Izzy wouldn't be enough, that's crazy talk!
"I don't know, we can certainly try, you know how you like trying, Chad. Or we can do what Adan and Teddy did, you know, get a genetically engineered baby." suggests Izzy, scared that his different fertility will be the final straw, that makes Chad leave him.

Chad tries to accept it. He Wants to accept it and be at peace with it! His mind races thinking "It shouldn't matter! I love all kids, I always have! I should naturally adore Izzy's child. It will be the miraculous issue of my wonderous love, so I will surely love it all the more! ...
So why do I feel this sadness, this lack, this wanting?
Logically it's probably just a force of nature programed into my genes that makes me have a burning desire to have 'Our Own'.
Really, I disgust myself in having that compelling urge, in this day and age!'' He admonishes himself, and looks up to see Izzy, watching him, with his beautiful hopeful face.

And they drive off to meet up with Grandfather.

Jin finds Chad utterly charming, and answers his questions about the Instant age potion, and werewolf potion. She doesn't touch the subject of Chad's infertility, poor boy, it's cause was the poisoned concession stand drinks, and it's too late now to cure. Well the boy will find out from a doctor when he's older.
Right now she has a hankering to be with Ayden!

"You boys go home! My Shoppe is closed!" Jin cackles. Her cackle is pretty scary, so the boys vamoose, Chad nearly running over Izzy, in his frenzy to get away from the frightening old witch!
But they are happy to leave, they'd rather watch the stars together!
That is much more enjoyable than being in a stuffy old Shoppe, with the oldsters!
