Trying to do a gift party on Xmas day

I'm getting the error that says there isn't enough room for the gifts for my gift party. I have basically moved everything out of my living room with the tree pretty much in the middle. I was reading some older posts on here. One suggested I remove part of the fence that surrounds my property. Another said the Xmas tree needs to be near the front door.

Suggestions?

    I'm not sure of what kind of space you're working with, but IIRC you need at least a 4x4 cleared area for the rug to appear.

    You don't need a Xmas tree. In fact, with it being centered in your room, that may be what is getting in your way.

    I tried the "remove a piece of fence" and that seemed to have worked except the pile of gifts ended up in the greenhouse. I might try it again sometime. I didn't have the 4x4 space so next time I'll have it in a different room. It was a fun experiment.
