What happened in your sims 3 game today?

Returning to Sims 3 after a few years, Had computer issues that I couldn't do anything about until a couple months ago. Then all 3 of my backups of my entire EA folder managed to fail somehow all I've managed to recover so far is a few very random and mostly useless for now pieces of CC but everything I worked on and saved for years is currently gone. I will eventually go into battle with my old laptop and see if that will let me at anything but I don't got time for that rn. So I had to go through a bit of a sulky phase where I didn't touch sims 3 because I didn't want to play without all my stuff. I played 4 instead and it just made me miss 3 more all the time so I've finally gotten over myself and returned to my true sims love.

I've been playing until like 5am (I clearly have missed this game very much) for several days so a lot has actually happened but I've been having issues posting (I actually hate these forums, this has not been a fun part of my return 😤) so just gonna try to break it into shorter-ish posts for now.

Anyway I made a new sim to adventure with for now until I get my stuff back (if I get it back). Meet Brooke aspiring pop star from Moonlight Falls.

Currently, she's just working at the musical theater while she goes through university. Which I suppose she doesn't need to be a pop star but I thought it would be a nice fun experience for her as she's quite the social butterfly.

No... this girl 😩. ALL she does is study. She's taking a FULL course load so she can try to get through school as fast as possible for financial reasons. She doesn't even nap in class or anything she is fully engaged every second. Girl, relax for 5 minutes, I promise you'll still be an A student.

The most exciting/college girl thing she did was find herself a boyfriend. His name is Eric. He is also a fine arts major. They go on literal study dates, where all they do is study and maybe make out for like 5 minutes but 99% of the time they are actually just studying.

ngl, my sims 4 game was absolutely wild when I first went back there. Kind of underwhelmed here at the moment, kinda gotta give a rare win to sims 4. Brooke could ya be a normal college-aged girl and have some fun, huh? Seriously just for 5 minutes even, like... it's not that deep.
