I loved the Sims 2 skill system and the cauldrons and spell books. They're trappings that feel like they fit with witches to me. Even in RL my wiccan friend has both a spell book and a cauldron. The only difference is, her inner witch is more spiritual while the Sims version actually casts spells. Maybe wiccans do too. I don't know. It felt rude to ask my friend. :blush:
Anyway, I chose the Sims 2 because I like that there's a skill-up system to it. Its something your sim gets better at with time and practice. As human beings, we didn't start out running...first we learned to crawl.
