Dark grey house and black roof is kind of an evidence to me, but it is pretty with a brown roof, too. What draws the attention is the railing that is not matched with the stairs. Brown stairs and railing would go better with a brown roof. You should download the mod that makes it possible to change the color of the chimney to something to go with the walls. Having the round entrance on the second picture also influences on the choice of roof...Edit: Forgot so say that the garden with all the flowers is fantastic! :)

I think the black roof gives the house a nice contrast. It pops out a bit more than with the brown roof. But the brown roof is nice too, if you want the house to blend in more with the surroundings. :smile: And the build is really nice, and I agree with Jillbg about the pretty garden! :smiley:

I think they both look great. I was so sure I was going to like the dark roof best till I scrolled down. :D I think the brown roof looks best with that chimney and it really makes the home look warm and inviting, especially when you add in the arch and bush fencing to the edge of the lot. It was a tough call for me. I was going to vote brown because it lends a lovely warmness to the house but the contrast of the black is striking.

I like the brown one the best. It helps to tie in with the other earthy colours used, and it gives the whole house a lovely feeling of warmth from the exterior.

I like the black roof with the grey shingles but the brown one with the chimney. So I would change the chimney to a different color if I kept the black roof or would change the shingles to a more beige-grey if I kept the brown roof.

The matching railings look great.
