Can I move household to a different town?

I'm thinking about getting a new expansion pack that includes a new town, and I want to use my current household, but I don't want to lose all the hard work I've put into them.  Can I move them to a ...

My guess would be that you still have the visa level (if that is saved with the Sim) but not the house.

Hi,

I have moved my well-travelled sim from one neighborhood to another, and the visa level stayed the same 🙂
