okay i have tried absolutely everything and even EA support is stuck they have no idea,
i am unable to login on sims 3 in the member login, i have changed my email and my password like 6 different times i have made sure there are no special characters in it, i have cleared my caches on safari and chrome plus my macbook, i have never have this issue before and only started right after i purchased 4 new packs and money, i am at my wits end i have done f**king everythingggg, even created a new account on my macbook like deadset everything someone has suggested i have done but still won’t work what am i suppose to do please can someone help, i have searched up heaps of different ways and i see this has happened to other people but only me has had this much issue!!!
alsoo it still lets me login on the EA app plus the sims website just not the actual game i used to use an old email which still comes up randomly but haven’t used that in ages and was using sims 3 with my new email so it’s not that
@jordyh090303 Please open Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Downloads and delete the file labeled [your email].bin. If it reappears later, after you've tried to login again, let me know whether the email in the file name is your old or new one.
Please also go into Applications > Utilities, open Keychain Access, search for sims3 , and delete any related entries.

i have done all that still won’t work
- 1 year ago@jordyh090303 sorry it also shows as my old email whenever i delete it and it reappears, i tried to change the name of it to my new one but it just pops up again as my old one

@jordyh090303 If you change your email to the old one, can you login? Even if you don't want to use it long-term, I'm curious whether it'll help. Please delete the file and clear the data in Keychain Access again after changing emails and before testing.

Yes I changed my password, deleted my email file did both a hard and soft reinstall, I was able to start downloading things again after I hard reset edge/internet explorer using the command, which solves the inital problem, but I still can’t log in. I can download stuff again so my main complaint has been solved. I had to use the command to do it as windows 11 dosnt have the option to fully reset.
