Can't log in at all

I need help! Ive been playing sims 3 for years now and recently I was randomly logged out and when I tried to log back in I was stuck in a connecting loop that never finished and id have to force close the application. I've tried clearing my cache on everything, I've deleted any saved passwords, I've changed my password multiple times, it does not contain any special characters, I've tried repairing the game. I even went as far as deleting the game and completely redownloading it, my only issue now is that because I redownloaded it I can no longer download stuff from the store, and I have so many purachases on there I'm so upset. I have a new MacBook and play on Ea. please send any suggestions. I am devastated..
