@Oumie-x Your dxdiag crashed while running and therefore doesn't contain all the usual information. I do think this computer would likely run Windows 10 just fine, if you want to update at some point. But that may not be the main issue.
The Reliability Monitor error points to an issue with DirectX 9, so please manually reinstall DX9, as described here:

If this doesn't help, please look for a Reliability Monitor error (and make sure it's newer, based on the timestamp), and post it here.
Thank you very much for helping me. I installed DirectX 9 but unfortunately the sims do not work yet. So I think I will buy a new computer.
In my opinion the recent update caused the problem.
I could play without problems a few days ago and now I simply cannot run the game anymore. I do not know if there was a way to avoid doing this update, but it is too late. Anyway, thanks again, but unless there is a fix I will have to give up the sims until I buy a new computer.
I would like to know if the sims 3 installs well on windows 11?

@Oumie-x I'm not out of ideas yet, but if you're ready to give up, that's understandable. Let me know if you change your mind, and we can keep troubleshooting on this system.
Sims 3 runs fine in Windows 11. Higher-end hardware means you'll likely need to manually limit your in-game framerates, but that's it. And I can help with the process if you want. I can also help with finding that new computer, anything from offering a second opinion on whatever you've picked out to finding good options in your price range. Feel free to ask if you're interested, whenever you're ready.

I'm not really ready to give up. However, I'm really not good with computers. I'm not sure if I really installed DirectX 9 correctly. Maybe I made a mistake somewhere.
But if you really want to help me we can continue I'm willing to try all your ideas. That's really nice.

@Oumie-x There's nothing wrong with trying to install DirectX 9 again; it won't do any harm. So please do it exactly as described in the post I linked. The reason I keep going back to this is that in Windows 10 and 11 at least, this is a very specific error with a specific cause and fix, installing DX9.
If you still can't play, please look for new (post-DX9-installation) error in the Reliability Monitor, and post the same info you did last time.
