Just tried playing the Sims 3 for the first time since March and this showed up on my screen. For context back in March I wasn't able to play it back then either because of this. It seems I deleted the Island Paradise dlc and it worked just fine, then I redownloaded the dlc because I love mermaids and that's the only reason I bought the dlc. But every time I try to play it shows this for all the worlds. Yes I've tried the whole make a new folder in file explorer thing, that doesn't work. Will I just never be able to play this dlc ever again?? And no I don't have any mods or cc that could be affecting it.
you should be able to uninstall and reinstall the DLC that is causing the issue can you try that and let me know if you are able to play it correctly?
Hi, yes I've already tried that. I even took my laptop to bestbuy to see if it was a problem with my system. Not even they could figure out the problem. And EA customer support couldn't help either
