@k-hewitt05 If the TS3 website gets restarted the cookie in IE becomes invalid and needs to be cleared. The way the stores items work is proprietary. you need to reset Internet Explorer. In Windows 10 you have to search for IE11 (Edge is not the browser you need to clear). The game uses IE to communicate. The most common issue with the problem you describe is an invalid cookie in IE.

Unfortunately with windows 10 you cannot run IE 11 or older versions. It won't even let me install them on my computer. Microsoft edge is the new IE. I have been running sims 3 on my windows 10 laptop for a year now with no launcher issues. This is a problem on EA's end. I called them last night and they said they're working on it.

@k-hewitt05 IE11 is already installed in Windows 10. Use the search function and it WILL find IE11. On my computer IE is the very last tile THAT IS IE11! If you use the Search the web and Windows you WILL find IE11. Yes you can't install IE because it is already installed. I have had the launcher problem and I reset IE 11 and the launcher works. I don't use IE so just resetting resets all the cookies. I have windows 10 64 bit and if you use file explorer and go to c:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\ and double click iexplorer.exe you'll find IE 11. That is 3 different ways to find IE 11 THAT IS ALREADY INSTALLED.
