EA charges consumer multiple times for the same product.

EA refuses to allow the download of a Sims World that I purchased.  Even though I have the Order Number, Product Code, and confirmed acknowledgement of payment received by EA through my Order History with EA, EA continues to require me to purchase yet another copy.

Is this a bug, or a scam by EA?

  • @Alaskan_Glitch  Hey, I normally wouldn't jump into a thread like this that already has people helping, and I know you've already had to jump through more hoops than you should have with EA support.  But I just wanted to point out that Sims 3 worlds, at least those that are purchased separately, need to be downloaded through the Sims 3 Store, not Origin.  In fact, Origin doesn't even acknowledge your ownership of the worlds—I just checked my own account to be sure.

    To download the world(s) you own, sign into the store site and click Store > My Account > Purchase History, and then click on the Download button for the world.  You can also download directly from the product page:
