I own all of the sims expansions except barnacle bay and I have never had a problem with gameplay, installing patches or installing the game. Since downloading the sims3 3 generations I have lost almost all interactions between sims. The only thing that is left is friendly (give gift, pillow fight) romantic (buy/give flowers) and mean (scare). When I try to use the very few interactions I have left the people will disappear and reappear in separate places or the action is not done at all. I have called EA 3 times and have done the following with no success.
1 Deleted all mods and custom content from the game ( I have never had cc or mods installed in the game)
2. Uninstalled the base game and all of my expansions packs and reinstalled them in the order of their release to make sure the patches install correctly.

(I have done this twice already and it didn’t fix the problem)
3. Manually installed the latest patch 1.229. ( I did this twice both times I received a message that this particular patch was already running on my game. Then I was asked if I would like to reinstall the patch anyway .Just be sure I reinstalled the patch both times I tried this step.)
4. Used the control shift c command to reset sims while in game play (nothing changed)
5. Moved the family out of the house and into a new one (still no interactions)
6. Tried to play in one of the different towns (had the same problem)
If anyone has or has had this problem and knows how to fix it please let me know what you did because so far none of the things EA has suggested has worked. All I want to do is play the game I have invested so much of my time and money into and have it work correctly. If this is a bug in the game EA really need to fix this problem ASAP.
