Yeah, except this time it wasn't associated with anything that could be linked to a Boarding School glitch. The notice quite clearly said that my Sim would start at Level 2 Cooking because of the time she spent playing with the Toy Oven, which I never bought her. And during her childhood, she never once played with a Toy Oven either. So I don't know how or even why the game would give her that boost.
Do you have Overwatch in your game
I had that in mine and while it was in i got those messages for any skill that could have been learnt as a child by my sims . Each time i did a skill that they could have started when children i got a message stating they were at whichever skill level they now were at due to early childhood development ( The message normally popped up about 3am )Removing overwatch stopped the messages .
I once posted about this on the nraas forums and was told it was a by product of Overwatch controlling skill speeds to stop vampires skilling too fast ( the message appears for all sims not just vampires )
