I have to get a new hard drive.... is there any way to save all my Sims 3 data (including expansion packs) ?

  • You can save the user data - save games, downloads, etc. but the game HAS to be installed and then youo can copy the user data over to your documents folder.

Is it possible to put the Sims 3 file on a flash drive? if not, please send some instructions for what to do.

Please acquaint yourself with what AHQ is, and is not.  The only kind of eMail you can get from in here is based on creating a "Subscription" that will send notices of activity on various message threads, but the default behavior of all Internet forums is a Passive attitude about the messages.  We never send anyone "instructions" that way.  The answers will (should) appear within the context of comments to your question.

That being said, I personally have no operable flash drive myself, and have never copied any Sims 3 file anywhere, sorry.

If I put all my sims data (game and expansion packs) in a document file will it be safe when I get a new hard drive? I'm just not very good with computers and I've already had to buy the Sims 3 twice when it was accidentally deleted. I don't want to have to buy what i've already bought twice now because of an issue with my hard drive. I just need help from EA to ensure that i don't lose my game or my expansions.....please, treat this issue with patience and help me understand what it is i must do.
